Additional Resources

A great reading resource with books for lower grades is RazKids. Classroom teachers will have the students' login information. Lastly, Super Teacher Worksheets has games, activities, texts, and worksheets for all subjects, but a subscription is needed.

Stay well and hopefully we will see you soon!

Home Learning Resources, March 23, 2020

Good morning students and families!

We miss our students' smiling faces! Since we can't meet with you in person, we want to keep you updated on resources you can use at home if you are a student or a parent. To start, PWCS has created this excellent Home Learning page with a lot of content for different grade levels, including suggested home learning schedules. We highly recommend checking this out and giving some of these resources a try.  PWCS Home Learning.

We also recommend visiting your classroom teacher's homepage for more specific information and learning resources.  Triangle Elementary Class Pages.

Meanwhile, here are some websites that we love:

Reading:
Lower grade levels, Starfall
A bilingual site for ESOL parents, Colorin Colorado
Resources for parents of all grade levels, Reading Rockets

Math:
For students in all grade levels, IXL FYI, the county has a subscription to IXL Math, but all other IXL subject areas are free for 30 days.
Bilingual math for students, AAA Matematicas

These are just a few! We will update frequently, so please check back. Also, if you have any comments, please leave them below.

P.S. to Ms. Batson's fifth grade students: if you are still reading Harry Potter and want to send  some questions or thoughts you had while reading, you can email me at the address above or comment on the blog post, in the blog section. I will work on getting you access to SeeSaw from home.
