A Message from Mr. Marinoble
Triangle Elementary- “Building Champions Together!”
At Triangle, we are celebrating our first full year in the “New”
Although we have been blessed with one of the most amazing facilities in all of
Our staff has embraced several educational concepts to help accelerate student learning. The Eight Step Instructional Process developed by Pat Davenport, Robert DuFour’s Professional Learning Communities, and Margaret Byrnes’ Baldrige in Education serve as frameworks for learning at Triangle Elementary. We strongly believe in teamwork and must work collaboratively to accomplish excellence in education.
In this journey to build Champion Tigers, we realize our staff cannot do this alone. Your support to our Tigers education is paramount. Please find ways to get involved through our school’s P.T.O. (Parent Teacher Organization.) or P.A.C. (Parent Advisory Council) or by volunteering in your child’s class. Give our office staff a call. We would be happy to share ways you can get involved.
This fall, we piloted our first Champion after school clubs. This was a huge success and just one way we take additional opportunities to reinforce character building skills with each child. We discuss daily what it means to be a champion tiger and often remind our students about our Tiger Acronym that is part of our school-wide discipline plan.
T- Try your best
I- Improve your character
G- Get good grades
E- Exceed Expectations
R- Respect yourself, others, and school property
Our school continues to be recognized at the county and state level. Some of the awards we have received are listed below.
2006- Title I Distinguished School (State Award)
2007- Title I Distinguished School (State Award)
2006-2007 School of Excellence Award (Prince William County Award)
2008-2009 School of Excellence Award (Prince William County Award)
2011- Board of Education Competence to Excellence Award
It is a privilege leading an amazing group of students and staff. Continue to check out our home page for the latest information and events and thank you for your role in building Champions at Triangle Elementary.
